Jessen  : (03 March 2013 - 08:46 AM) a cryptid (from the Greek "κρύπτω" (krypto) meaning "hide") is a creature or plant whose existence has been suggested but is not yet recognized by scientific consensus. Famous examples include the Yeti in the Himalayas, the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland, and Sasquatch in North America.
Jolene  : (03 March 2013 - 08:45 AM) Im from a lousy school system. Big words confuse me.

Charity is the almost 21yo daughter of a wealthy business man/hopeful politician. Her father leads HATE, the company responsible for killing mutants. Now estranged from her father, the young, blonde woman runs a soup kitchen in the city for ALL, and her kindness isn't always rewarded.

Why restrictions? Because we're trying to make this game as realistic as possible, and it's not very realistic to have 90% of the population as ninja masters.

Also, not everyone is a doctor, or a dancer, or a street kid, or a martial arts expert, so these types of people we will only allow very few of. Besides, it can be a lot more challenging and fun to play an average person in a not so average environment, and so much more fun if you can't solve every problem that comes about. How would a mechanic react to a ninja master? How would a schoolteacher be able to befriend a mutant turtle?

There are so many scenario's out there, waiting to be played. Why not give your new character the chance to try something new?

Restricted Concepts:

Mutant Turtles. Let's try and be diverse here and keep the TMNT as original and unique as possible.
Full Mutations. You CAN be a full mutant like the TMNT but ONLY if they are canon to the comics or series; such as Leatherhead. He is canon and is a full mutant. No Original Characters can be full mutants. The TMNT are also the only animals with human traits. The rest of you who wish to be "original mutants" must have been regular humans once, and now with a SUBTLE new trait. Perhaps gills, or a tail or retractable claws. Use your imagination!
Combat Trained. Again, not very original and besides, it's much more fun to try and get out of a situation if there's a challenge!
Medically Trained. Basic CPR and first aid is fine, but let's not have a heap of brain surgeons running around.
Pregnancy/Babies. Any plot involving a character pregnancy MUST be run by admin first.
